Life is messy! Sometimes we just need help to pick up the pieces or look for a different way to put our lives back together!

Our past experiences play a part in how we see life today. When we live through grief, loss, abuse or pain, it leaves a mark on our being and may cause changes in our life, our attitude and our relationships.

Unexpected life events and reminders of past painful experiences can cause an avalanche of emotions. On some occasions, we can shrug them off, and continue with our daily routine. Other days, those thoughts and emotions flood our brain making it difficult to concentrate on anything else! Together we can dig out from those thoughts, emotions and feelings that seem to be smothering you and restore some peace/calm into your life - There is always hope; sometimes we just need help to uncover it.

Jayne uses a realistic therapeutic approach that focuses on your daily life concerns. Her interests are in helping adolescents and adults cope with the significant life events and current life stressors.

"Communication, Commitment and Openness are the keys to Healthy Relationships. We are what we have lived. Traumas such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, sudden deaths and violence emotionally disrupt our daily lives and add stress to our relationships. Together we can work on finding a way to heal and cope with life as it is today. Together we can address the issues that concern you and what is going on in your life."

Jayne has spent the past 20 years in the Human Services field working with Children and Families at risk.

Jayne holds a Master’s degree in counseling from UNO. She interned and continues a relationship with The Attention and Trauma Center of Nebraska. Jayne conducts Trauma Trainings for KVC Behavioral HealthCare.

She is the mother of three beautiful children and has recently added a son in law to the family. She has been married to the love of her life for more years than she cares to mention.
